ALTERNATIVE ROUTE ACTIVATED - ETM
FOR SAFETY REASONS, THE RACE DIRECTION HAS DECIDED TO ACTIVATE THE ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FOR THE ETM (50K)
The safety of runners, volunteers, and staff is our top priority. Therefore, an alternative route has been designed to avoid the highest and most exposed areas, allowing participants to fully enjoy the race in complete safety.
With these modifications, the race will now cover 53 km and 2,100 m+.
DESCRIPTION:
53 km | 2,100 m+ | 2 Running Stones | Qualifier for the OCC® at HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc
The race will start in the iconic village square of Selva, and the course will take runners through charming towns and emblematic trails such as Caimari, following the Antic Camí de Lluc until reaching the Santuari de Lluc. From there, the route continues up through the Curves de Galileu, Coll des Telègraf, and Coll des Prat, entering a true high-mountain environment.
From the Cúber reservoir, runners will continue toward Coll de l’Ofre, avoiding the highest peaks, before descending through Biniaraix, Fornalutx, and finally reaching Port de Sóller, where the sea awaits them.
The ETM awards 2 Running Stones for the UTMB® World Series Finals lottery and offers the possibility of direct qualification for the OCC® to the top overall finishers or those who qualify through their UTMB® Score.
IMPORTANT:
- Cut-off times have been modified and adjusted to the new race conditions. Please check the updated schedule before the start.
Although the alternative route presents slight variations in distance or elevation gain, it fully meets the established criteria for its UTMB® distance category. Therefore, all finishers will receive the corresponding Running Stones, in accordance with the official UTMB® World Series regulations.
Thank you for your understanding.
Athletes must carry the mandatory equipment at all times during the race and be prepared for random controls along the course. If they are missing any element they will receive a time penalty or disqualification.

The jacket must not have any parts made of non-waterproof fabric, only the vents provided by the manufacturer (under the arms, on the back) and as long as they do not obviously alter the waterproofing, are accepted. In case of heavy rain on the race day or the previous day, the organization may prohibit the use of poles, in compliance with the conditions established in the environmental authorization.
Any participant who decides to carry poles must carry them throughout the race. It is prohibited to leave without poles and obtain and use ones during the race. Recovery of the bags: The bags are delivered to the runners or their loved ones upon presentation of the race number. They must be recovered at the finish line no later than 2 hours after the close of the race.
The organization ensures the return of the bags of runners who have abandoned, provided that the abandonment has been registered. The return time of the bag will depend on logistical needs. The organization does not guarantee the return of all bags in Port de Sóller before the end of the race. Only the bags provided by the organization will be transported*. Poles cannot be transported in bags. The contents of the bags will not be verified, and no complaints about their contents will be entertained. It is recommended not to deposit valuable objects.
We recommend that you have spare clothes and hygiene products in the arrival areas.
*For logistical and environmental reasons, UTMB® World series events only accept life bags that have been distributed at the time of delivery of the bib. These bags are reusable, so runners are asked to use them each time they participate in a UTMB® World Series race.
