A real ultra. An unforgettable challenge.
102 km | 3.600 m+ | 3 Running Stones | Qualifying for the CCC® of HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc
The CPS of Mallorca by UTMB® invites you to run 102 km and 3,600 m of positive height gain in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site , on a demanding, technical and spectacular route.
From the very first kilometres, this race immerses you in the wildest and most authentic Mallorca. It starts in Estellencs along the Camí des Correu to Esporles and passes through villages steeped in history such as Valldemossa, Bunyola, Orient, Alaró and Fornalutx, passing through the municipality of Escorca.
From forests and cobbled paths to technical mountain passes, the route takes runners around places as representative as the Talaia de Cals Reis, or the surroundings of Tossals Verds, reaching stretches of great beauty such as the Lluc Sanctuary and its sacred forests.
The final stretch, with the mythical Barranc de Biniaraix (declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1994), will take you into a landscape dominated by cliffs and torrents and will put your legs to the test... to finally cross the finish line by the sea, in the bay of Port de Sóller. This is a race for the brave. For those who, more than kilometres, are looking for excitement, connection with nature, and a sense of achievement that only a real ultra can offer.
And it also gives you 3 running stones for the UTMB® World Series Finals draw, and the possibility of direct qualification to the CCC® for the best in the general ranking or those who qualify by their UTMB® Score.
IMPORTANT:
In accordance with the race regulations and the conditions of the environmental permits, the routes may undergo changes, or be shortened, due to weather warnings or the state of the terrain.
A large part of the route crosses private properties, access to which is only permitted during the race with the corresponding permits. Always respect private property and consult the restrictions if you are going to train in the area. Before setting off on your training run, you must inform yourself of these restrictions and comply with them.
Athletes must carry the mandatory equipment at all times during the race and be prepared for random controls along the course. If they are missing any element, they will receive a time penalty or disqualification.
- Closed shoe suitable for trail running.
- Backpack or similar intended to transport the mandatory material during the race.
- Mobile phone (smartphone is MANDATORY): the runner must be available and answer the phone at any time before, during and after the race:
- Mobile phone that allows its use in Spain (include the organization's security numbers in your contacts, have the phone turned on, do not hide the number, and do not forget to leave with the battery charged).
- Keep the phone on, airplane mode is prohibited and may be penalized.
- Livetrail application installed and activated.
- An external battery is recommended.
- Personal glass of at least 15cl (drums or containers with lids not accepted).
- Water reserve of 1.5l minimum. At the exit from some aid stations it will be mandatory to leave with 1.5l of drink, depending on the section to be covered or the weather conditions.
- 2 fronts in good working order with spare batteries for both fronts. Recommendation: 200 lumens or more for the main front.
- Survival bag/thermal bivouac.
- Whistle.

- Jacket with a hood that can withstand bad weather in the mountains and made with a waterproof membrane of at least 10,000 mm water column and breathable (recommended RET less than 13). The jacket must necessarily have an integrated or attached hood with a system originally provided by the manufacturer. The seams must be heat sealed. The jacket must not have parts made of a non-waterproof fabric, only the vents provided by the manufacturer (under the arms, on the back) and as long as they do not obviously alter the waterproofing, are accepted. It is the runner's responsibility to judge, according to these criteria, whether their jacket adapts to the regulations and, therefore, to bad weather in the mountains. At checkpoints, the judgment of the person responsible for the control or the commissioner will prevail.

- The windbreaker is not a substitute for a waterproof jacket with a hood, and vice versa.
ATTENTION: If you carry poles, a soft tip or tip protection and replacement protections are mandatory.
All garments must be the participant's size and without modifications after leaving the factory.
All material will be transported in a backpack or similar that cannot be changed during the tour. All material will be properly packaged to prevent it from getting wet inside the backpack in rainy conditions.
Other recommended material (non-exhaustive list):

Canes will not be accepted in the life bags delivered by the organization.
At the time of bib delivery, each participant receives 1 30-liter bag. After filling it with those clothes and utensils that the runner considers, he will deposit it at the starting line. The bag will be taken by the organization to the ALARÓ Aid station. When the runner arrives at the aid station he can remove the bag. When the runner leaves the aid station, the runner in person will have to deposit the bag in the area indicated for this purpose. The organization will transfer the bag to PORT DE SÓLLER.
Bag recovery: The bags are delivered to the runners or their loved ones upon presentation of the race number. They must be recovered at the finish line no later than 2 hours after the close of the race.
The organization ensures the return of the bags of runners who have abandoned, provided that the abandonment has been registered. The return time of the bag will depend on logistical needs. The organization does not guarantee the return of all bags in Port de Sóller before the end of the race. Only the bags provided by the organization will be transported*. Poles cannot be transported in bags. The contents of the bags will not be verified, and no complaints about their contents will be entertained. It is recommended not to deposit valuable objects.
We recommend that you have spare clothes and hygiene products in the arrival areas.
*For logistical and environmental reasons, UTMB® World series events only accept life bags that have been distributed at the time of delivery of the bib. These bags are reusable, so runners are asked to use them each time they participate in a UTMB® World Series race.
