Serra de Tramuntana
Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the category of Cultural Landscape, the Serra de Tramuntana is one of the best examples of the perfect integration of the human footprint with nature, offering a very interesting mix of culture, heritage and nature. The Serra offers a wide range of activities and routes, and is undoubtedly one of the most visited tourist attractions in the Balearic Islands.
Beaches and bays
There are more than 300 beaches along the coast of Mallorca. From the most popular and touristy to the quietest and most hidden, there is a whole repertoire of natural places to enjoy the Mediterranean. What is more, many of these beaches and coves are located in natural parks, making them a real natural treasure for Mallorca.
Charming villages
The essence of the island can be found in its streets, the streets of the villages that make up the island and give it its own personality. Valldemossa, inspiration for artists and residence of monarchs, has been discovered as one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca. But also towns like Sóller and Deià, in the Tramuntana mountain range, Andratx, one of the oldest towns on the island, Alcudia, with its urban and natural side, Fornalutx, with its unique rural charm, or Palma, its cosmopolitan capital, are just some of the places not to be missed.
Arte y cultura
Since ancient times, Mallorca has been a melting pot of cultures and peoples due to its strategic location in the Mediterranean. This has contributed to the island's rich cultural heritage and unique characteristics on the Mediterranean coast, which are reflected in its craftwork, folklore, traditions and gastronomy.
Gastronomic destination
With a wide range of products and a very interesting culinary offer, Mallorcan gastronomy is characterised by its diversity and the richness of its land. High quality meats, fresh fish from the sea, a delicious repertoire of vegetables and fruit and, of course, two emblematic products that carry the name of Mallorca all over the world: the ensaimada and the sobrasada.
