The experience of crossing a large part of the Serra de Tramuntana is reserved for the most intrepid. Starting from the modernist square of the town of Sóller, the route is one hundred and forty-six kilometres long and will take you along some of the most beautiful paths in the Serra de Tramuntana, through Lluc, Pollença, Valldemossa, Deià... to end by the sea in Port de Sóller.
The race takes place in a unique setting on the island of Mallorca, the Serra de Tramuntana Natural Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Sky, clouds, mountains, cliffs, sea... and the work of the local people who, over the years, have helped to shape this spectacular area. A rural and cultural landscape full of dry stone walls, centuries-old olive trees, towns and villages that will accompany you on your journey.
With approximately 146 km and 6,000 m of positive elevation gain, this race will not leave you indifferent. Participants will obtain 4 running stones. The first three men and the first three women in the general ranking, and those who qualify on the basis of the UTMB Score of the race, will have direct access to the equivalent mode in the UTMB Mont-Blanc finals, in this case the iconic UTMB mode of 170km.
A challenge you can't afford to miss!
In line with the regulations of the event and the conditions of the environmental permissions, the itineraries may suffer changes or be reduced, due to weather alerts or the conditions of the terrain.
Most of the races pass through privately owned properties, and for this reason there may be limitations of passage during the year. During the race it will be allowed to pass through them with permission of the property. Therefore, private property and the will of its owners must be respected. Before going out to train you must inform yourself of these limitations and comply with them.
Athletes must carry the mandatory equipment at all times during the race and be prepared for random controls along the course. If they are missing any element, they will receive a time penalty or disqualification.

The jacket must not have parts made of a non-waterproof fabric, only the vents provided by the manufacturer (under the arms, on the back) and as long as they do not obviously alter the waterproofing, are accepted. NEUTRALISED SECTIONS
It is the will of the UTMB® Group to protect and cause the least possible impact on the paths along which our races take place. For this reason, and by express indications of the management of Paratge Natural de Serra de Tramuntana, there will be two neutralised sections in some of the races:
- Canaleta de Massanella
In the SDT 100M distance, at approximately kilometre 70 and in the M5000 100K distance, at approximately kilometre 30. With the aim of protecting this historic pass, this stretch of around 600 metres, which will be signposted, will be neutralised.
- Cingles de Son Rullan
Section of the distances SDT 100M (km. 128) and CDA 20K (km. 8). A singular section with a high degree of erosion. It is a downhill section of 250 metres.
What does neutralised section mean?
In these two sections, which will be signposted at the start and finish, the runner cannot run, overtake or use poles. They may only walk. Any runner who does not comply with the ban on running in these sections may be penalised with a minimum of 30 minutes penalty to be served at the next aid station. There will be Referees from the UTMB® World Series and Environmental Officers from the Government of Mallorca who will apply, indistinctly, these penalties, and even the prohibition to continue in the race.
For the good of these two natural spaces we ask for your maximum collaboration.
Reminder about the use of poles: We remind you that according to the environmental regulations of the Paratge Natural de Serra de Tramuntana, the use of walking poles is authorised as long as they have rubber tips, and the runner also carries a spare pair of rubber tips in case the first ones are lost.
