A race to run, remember and contribute

With the Mediterranean taking centre stage and the Serra de Tramuntana as a spectacular backdrop, the Memorial Guiem Sec is a very special race: 7 km combining sport, scenery and solidarity in Port de Sóller.

The race starts at the Sa Creu Lighthouse, from where the route follows the coastline to the Cap Gros Lighthouse. A fast and scenic course offering exceptional views over the harbour, the coastline and the mountains surrounding this unique corner of Mallorca.

After reaching the Muleta area , runners will head back towards the finish line, completing an out-and-back course with the sea always by their side.

A unique and welcoming experience in one of the most spectacular settings on the Mallorcan coast.

This race does not award Running Stones or a UTMB Index.

A challenge against chilhood cancer

The Memorial Guiem Sec goes far beyond the sporting challenge. The race also aims to support the fight against childhood cancer and raise awareness of the impact these diseases have on children and their families.

The race is held in collaboration with 1 Km de Vida, a charity initiative co-founded by Guiem Coll Bestard, “Sec”, and developed in Sóller through trail races and sporting challenges to raise funds for childhood cancer research and support affected children and their families.

Guiem Coll Bestard passed away after a long battle with cancer, leaving behind an important legacy of solidarity in Sóller, Fornalutx and the surrounding area. This Memorial aims to keep that spirit alive, bringing sport and solidarity together in a place to which he was deeply connected.

Your race entry also makes a difference

The funds raised through race entry fees, with the exception of the 8% allocated to administrative management costs, as well as all voluntary contributions, will be donated to the Unoentrecienmil Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting research to find a cure for childhood cancer.

In addition to taking part in the race, anyone who wishes to support the challenge can make a charitable donation and contribute directly to this cause.

Every race entry, every donation and every kilometre counts.
