Elite runners

In order to ensure fair recognition of high-level athletes and an equitable management of entry requests, places are reserved for elite athletes according to their Performance Index.

Due to the limited number of bibs available, the general elite registration rules of the UTMB® World Series – Group B apply to this event. More information is available in Elits system.

Free access to UTMB® World Series events

Qualified elite runners must register before September 15, 2026 via their MyUTMB account. The organization reserves the right to accept additional runners after this date.

To ensure fairness and efficiently manage entry requests, elite runner access is determined based on their UTMB® Index in the selected race category. Runners wishing to benefit from a direct and free bib (subject to availability) must hold, at the time of registration, a UTMB® Index meeting the following minimum requirements:

Elite bibs for the 20K category must be requested at elits.mallorca@utmb.world.

If elite athletes meet these requirements, they may register directly on the platform, as the system will recognize their UTMB® Index and no bib fee will be required. They may also contact elits.mallorca@utmb.world by email.

Specific conditions

Free registrations for elite runners cannot be guaranteed under the following circumstances and are subject to the discretion of the Race Direction:

• Fully booked races

• Closed registrations

• Less than 30 days before the event

• Other conditions

If an event includes two races in the same category, only the qualifying races for the finals are eligible for free registration. Free registration criteria do not apply to the 20 km races.

If elite athletes are ultimately unable to participate in the event, they must inform the organization in due time so that their spot can be released for other elite runners. Failure to notify non-participation may result in future registrations for UTMB® World Series events being blocked.
