The inaugural edition of Mallorca by UTMB® brings together the world's elite in trail running.
Just one week until one of the last major trail running events of the year kicks off. From October 30 to November 3, the Balearic island of Mallorca will host the first edition of Mallorca by UTMB®, an event that will bring together some of the world's top athletes.
With 3,400 registered runners, 54% of whom are international participants, and all entries sold out months in advance, Mallorca by UTMB® debuts as one of the most eagerly anticipated events among trail running enthusiasts in its inaugural year.
Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, Italy, the USA, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Argentina have the highest number of registrants, with participants from over 70 nationalities.
The Mancomunitat de la Serra de Tramuntana and the municipalities along the race routes aim, among other goals, to diversify tourism and attract visitors who are more focused on sports and have a strong commitment to respecting nature.
The event also has the support of the Federació Balear de Muntanyisme i Escalada and the Federació d'Atletisme de les Illes Balears.
