SDT cancelled. The ETM continues without alterations.

The organization of Mallorca by UTMB®, in coordination with the local authorities, has decided to suspend the SDT as it is not possible to guarantee the safety of the runners, due to the heavy rains that have fallen on the island affecting the accesses as well as the terrain through which the race runs.

In particular, there are several stretches with more than one meter of water and strong currents. The postponement of this race is not possible because there is no authorization by the Paratge Natural de la Serra de Tramuntana park and because of the obligation to respect restrictive quotas in terms of number of runners per trail and per day.

The ETM continues without alteration as it does not run through these sections with dangerous crossings.

Although tomorrow will probably be a sunny day, due to all the rain and flooding, we cannot guarantee a race in adequate safety conditions.

The organization of Mallorca by UTMB® has been working for several days so that the event could be held without endangering the safety of the people involved in it.

We greatly regret the consequences that this DANA is having on all those affected.
