A short and explosive race
Escales del Calvari is a vertical race, a short but intense challenge, which has a length of 0.4 kilometres and 100 metres of elevation gain.
It will be disputed on Wednesday 30th at 18h. and will take place on the mythical stairs of Calvari in the town of Pollença.
It consists of 365 steps that represent the 365 days of the year and make up the access to the Calvary, one of the most emblematic places in the town of Pollença. Once at the top you can enjoy fantastic views of Pollença and part of the Mallorcan coast.
REGULATIONS
-Qualifying rounds: Open to all participants. All runners will start in pairs, two by two. The eight best times in the men's category and the eight best times in the women's category will go through to the semi-finals.
-Semi-finals: There will be one male and one female semi-final. The 8 classified in each category will have two heats, an initial one of 4 participants and, subsequently, the remaining 4.
-Final: The first and second of each heat will qualify for the final. The grand final will be with the 4 best in each category.
Registration is open to anyone, male or female, born in 2006 or earlier.
